Hello! I’m Kassy Clarke and I’ve lived in Geneva all my life. My journey with Mansio began when I had the opportunity to work as a substitute. Even in that short time, I quickly realized there was something special about the Montessori environment and the community at Mansio. When I was offered a full-time position, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.
I have always known that I wanted to work with children, and I have enjoyed opportunities to work with children of different ages throughout my life. Including babysitting as well as working before and after school care and as a summer camp coordinator. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I continued exploring different paths within education. I wasn’t sure if traditional classroom teaching was right for me, but my experience at Mansio showed me that there are many ways to make a meaningful impact in children’s lives.
As someone who is new to Montessori, I am excited to continue learning and growing in my role. I love connecting with children of different ages and personalities, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a place where I can do something I have always loved while discovering where my future in education may take me.
Outside of Mansio, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, staying active, as well as reading and baking. I am so excited to begin at Mansio and feel incredibly grateful to be part of such an amazing
community.
