My name is Emma Barnette, and I was born here in Illinois but spent most of my childhood living just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. From a young age, I developed a passion for caring for others, especially children. I graduated high school a year early, finishing in the top 10% of my class, and am now pursuing a career in early childhood education.

Before stepping into the classroom, I gained extensive hands-on experience babysitting and helping raise my two younger siblings. During my senior year of high school I took an early childhood education class and worked as an assistant teacher, I loved every second of it. That experience deepened my passion for creating a safe, encouraging, and joyful space where children can learn and grow.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking and baking, spending time outdoors, and listening to music. I also love exploring new crafts and hobbies.

I am so excited to be a part of the Mansio Montessori family!
