An independent Montessori school for children 15 months to six years of age.

For parents that need quality education and care for their children, Mansio Mens provides a loving atmosphere in which your child's mind, body and spirit can flourish. More than 900 children have grown with Mansio Mens’ individualized instruction since 1981. We are certified by the American Montessori Society to strict standards.

Mansio Mens Montessori is located in a residential neighborhood in Geneva, Illinois and are one block from the scenic Fox River. Our school is located in a renovated 3,000 square foot residence, which is home to five classrooms and administrative offices. As a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation, Mansio Mens Montessori is an independent school that encourages a sense of wonder about life and the world. Montessori students develop a lifelong love of learning, as well as a deep sense of caring for themselves, others and the world in which we live.

We encourage parents to visit our school before enrolling their child, because we feel it is important to understand the program, the people, and the place in which their child will invest formative years before primary school. If you value innovative thinking and nurturing your child's potential, Mansio Mens offers an alternative that is unique as your child. The Mansio mens Annual Fundraiser will be Saturday, March 10, 2012"Our aim is not merely to make the child understand, and still less to force him to memorize, but to so touch his imagination as to enthuse him to his innermost core." - Dr. Maria Montessori

"The most important part of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six. For that is the time when a man's intelligence itself, his greatest implement, is being formed. But not only his intelligence; the full totality of his psychic powers." - Dr. Maria Montessori
