Some of our most popular Live Auction items are class projects created by the children. Below are photographs of Childrens' art that will be at auction this year:
Children's Art for the Mansio Mens 2012 Charity Auction
This colorful rocking horse has BT children's hand prints on with peace, love, nature and yin-yang symbols and Chinese characters. We created this for all children to be happy and healthy, and to enjoy life to the fullest. We hope that all have physical health, mental clarity and spiritual peace.
The 2/3 classroom has created this project!
This adorable, vintage 1970’s wrought-iron ICE CREAM TABLE and TWO CHAIRS feature beautiful polymer clay artwork by the students of FD1. One-of-a-kind garden scenes were created by the students and encased in resin for the seat backs. The children also created the beads that line the seats and matching centerpiece. All three pieces were generously and professionally restored by Fox Valley Sandblasting and Powdercoating and will last for many years to come. It is a unique addition to any porch, deck, basement or any cozy corner for two!
The children of FD2 created and designed a set of six stepping stones to create a feeling of peace and tranquility in your garden or yard. Drawing their inspiration from our classroom’s theme of finding inner peace in calm, quiet moments, the children’s’ designs ranged from specific peace symbols (dove, peace sign, nature) to casual colorful designs that encourage positive feelings of peace and hope. Each child worked on the stones choosing the colors and textures that they felt worked best. Their initials are stamped on the back of the stone(s) they worked on. The lucky winner of this auction item will surely enjoy many moments of “peaceful bliss” once this special collection finds its home in their yard!
The kindergarten project is a collage inspired by photographs with watercolor paint and other media.
